County Sligo Senior Scór competition
A Chairde,

Saturday March 10th Rathcormac Hall, Drumcliffe at 6.30pm is the venue for the County Sligo Senior Scór competition.
All Clubs are asked to please make an effort to keep this important part of our organisation & culture .

Appreciate there are lots of urgent tasks to be done in every club at this time – however it is important to organise or delegate responsibility to someone in your Club the task of getting some representation at the various disciplines on 10th March.

There are eight events/disciplines in Scór that cover all aspects of Irish culture: Figure/Céilí Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music, Recitation/Scéalaíocht, Ballad Group, Novelty Act, Question Time and Set Dancing. The competition is divided into two age levels, Scór Na nÓg, for young people under 17 and Senior Scór (Scór Sinsear), for those over 17.

We are not expecting every Club to participate in every event –but I am sure that each Club will have a minimum of 3 people for a quiz team and one Solo singer

If you need any assistance or information please do not hesitate to contact me .
