The under 14 team had an easy win over Tourlestane in the championship.on Friday last in Tourlestrane. The under 16 team are scheduled to play Naomh Eoin in the championship on Monday in Easkey.

Congratulations to Christine Kilcullen on winning a prize for her hat at Sligo Races G.A.A. Day. Christine depicted a hurley, sliotar, football and goalposts on her hat which she made herself to represent our club. The hat was much admired, in particular by R.T.E.`s Marty Morrissey!

Congratulations to club player Fionn Connolly who played in Croke Park on Sunday during the All Ireland semi final between Kerry and Mayo.

The Stephen Tempany Hurling Tournament will take place in St. Farnan`s Park, Templeboy on Saturday, Sept. 6th. This is for under 14 teams and a number of visiting teams will take part. Further details next week.
