Do you have any unwanted clothes, paired shoes/runners, handbags, curtains, sheets, towels, soft toys etc - all in clean and dry condition or mobile phones – then get them to the Clubhouse next Saturday morning 30th Aug at 12 noon or you can leave them into Coola any evening this week at training times – this is a Bord NaNog fundraiser – please support.
 
The Intermediate team had a comfortable 3-16 to 0-7 win over neighbours St Michaels in the Championship last Saturday. The team was:- Donal Tuohy, Colin Harte, Paul Higgins, Paul Brennan, Michael Hannon (0-1), Frank Quinn, Niall Henry, Joe Henry (1-0), Liam O'Connell (0-1), Keith McMorrow (0-1), Patrick O'Grady (1-2), Ciaran O'Connor (1-2), Shane Barry, David Quinn (0-9), Derrick DaveySubs:- Keith Candon for Derrick Davey, Mark Tuohy for David Quinn and Gavin McMorrow for Colin Harte.
The Junior team gave a great performance last Friday against St Marys in the Championship and were only denied a win by the last kick of the game. The final score was Gaels 2-14 St Mary's 2-14. The team was:- Rickie Johnston, Conor Merrick, Raymond Murrin, Gearoid McTiernan, Liam Tuohy, Robbie Johnston, Declan Willis (0-1), Eoin McDermott (0-1), Noel Jinks, Enda Tuohy (1-0), Johnny Kenny (0-3), Eoin O'Connell (0-2), Nigel Hargadon (0-4), Michael Tonry, Enda Foley (1-3). Subs Padraig Mc Cormack for E Tuohy, Enda Tuohy for E Foley (inj).
 
The minor team take on Drumcliffe/Rosses Point this Thursday at home at 7PM in the B Championship.
 
The U16 team continued their good run with a 1-14 to 0-9 win over Coolera/Strandhill in the A championship. The team was:- Conor Heffernan, Paul Harrington, Ben Tuohy, Conor McGrievy, Patrick Benson (0-1), Karl McKenna, Alan Kelly, Enda O’Connell (0-1), Cian McDermott, Daire Kearns (0-3), Darragh Hailstones (0-7, 4f), Daniel Murphy (0-1), Steven Willis, Seamus Hailstones (1-0), Dylan Willis (0-1). Subs: Emmett Dodd for Cian McDermott.
 
The U14 team take on Owenmore Gaels this Wednesday at home at 7PM in the A Championship.
The Lotto draw takes place this Saturday night in McTiernans, Gleann where the jackpot will be €1,500.
