All roads lead to Markievicz Park next Sunday when the Intermediate Team take on Bunninadden at 2.30PM in the Championship semi-final – please come out and support the team and management.

 

The U14 Team lost 1-9 to 4-9 to Eastern Harps in the final group game of the A Championship last Friday. The team was: Ultan McKenna, Christian Monaghan, Sean Carroll, Shane McCann (0-1), Adrian Benson, Evan Lyons, Bryan Johnston (0-1), Seamus Hailstones (0-1), Dylan McDermott (1-5, 4f), Shane Deignan (0-2), Daniel Lyons, Paul Leydon (0-1), Mikey Barry, Dylan Willis, Killian Walsh. Subs Eoin Dwyer for D Willis, Ryan Brennan for S Hilstones, Dylan Burke for A Benson. Despite this loss the Gaels progress to the semi-final.

 

The Girls U14 team lost 1-7 to 3-7 away to Drumcliffe last Tuesday. The team was: Meabh McDermott, Lisa Callaghan, Aoife Morrisroe, Katy McCann, Lousie Merrick, Jade Lyons, Keeva McDermott, Eba McCann, Chloe McTiernan (1-0), Roisin Kearns, Rachel Boyd (0-1), Makayla McLoughlin, Jane Benson (0-4), Mairead Tuohy, Erin Mullaney (0-2). Subs: Katie Little for M Tuohy, M Tuohy for M McLoughlin. They now take on Tourlestrane at home this Tuesday at 6.15PM.

 

There was no winner of the lotto this week – the numbers drawn were 13, 16, 23, 31. The next draw is in McDermotts Castlebaldwin on Saturday 11th October when the jackpot will be €1,800.
