The Seniors bowed out of the Kiernan Cup on Saturday evening with a defeat to St Molaise Gaels.
The game was played in horrendous weather conditions and with light fading, the lads lost out by 2 points in the end. Focus now returns to the League although we have one remaining fixture v Drumcliffe next weekend in the Kiernan Cup.
Congrats to Summerhill College who had a fantastic win after extra time against St Jarlaiths of Tuam.
The very successful "Nursery Programme" for 4-6yr olds which we ran for the past couple of years will be starting again on Monday 9th of March form 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Sligo Tennis Club over a six week period. This is a fantastic oppurtunity for our younger ones to have a fun introduction to our National Games and we encourage all parents to bring their children along to enjoy the fun.
This weeks Lotto numbers are 15, 16, 18 and 21. There was no winner of the €3,800 jackpot.
Michael Scanlon Faughts was the only match 3 winner, claiming €100. David Dykes won the €20 promoters prize. Net draw is on 16th March at the Clubhouse with the jackpot hitting €3,900.
