Well done to Daniel Murphy and the Sligo M​inor team and management on winning the Connacht Minor League at the weekend.

Thanks to all who supported the 7K Fun Run and Walk at the weekend. The winner was ​Enda Dineen in a time of 28:11 while the first female home was Catriona McCormack in a time of 35:25. Thanks to Michelle McMorrow for once again organising the event.


There was no winner of the lotto this weekend - the numbers drawn were 2, 8, 18 and 19. The jackpot now stands at €1,300 with the next draw on Saturday 25th in McDermotts.

 
The Senior team had a hard fought 1-11 to 1-6 home win over Enniscrone in the league. The team was: Donal Tuohy, Declan Willis, Paul Higgins, Colin Harte, Michael Hannon, James Lyons, Conor Merrick, David Quinn (0-4), Joe Henry, Ciaran O'Connor, Keith Candon (0-1), Eoin O'Connell (0-1), Johnny Quinn (1-3), Eoin Carroll, Darragh Hailstones. Subs: Shane Barry for James Lyons (inj), Joe Quinn (0-2) for E Carroll, Daire Kearns for C O'Connor. They play Easkey away this Saturday at 6.30PM.

The Junior team lost 2-10 to 1-6 away to Owenmore Gaels on Saturday evening. The team was: Rickie Johnston, Padraig McCormack, Diarmuid Jinks, Gearoid McTiernan, Gavin McMorrow, Robbie Johnston, Calvin Flynn, Adrian McCann, Brian McDermott, Eoin Carroll (1-1), Derek Davey, Daire Kearns (0-1), Mark Kearns, Nigel Hargadon (0-4), Donal Carroll. Subs: Noel Jinks for P McCormack, Enda Foley for A McCann, Conal McCormack for M Kearns.


​The Minor team have their first game this Thursday away to St Marys at 7PM.


The U16's are away to Coolaney/Mullinabreena this Monday in the League quarter final at 7PM.

The U14 's are at home to Coolera this Wednesday 15th at 7PM and they also play Saturday in the Feile against Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in Scarden at 12.00PM.

The U12 boys first game is this Tuesday away to St Molaise Gaels at 7PM.

The Junior Ladies play Owenmore Gaels next Sunday at 12PM in Coola.

The U16 girls lost to a strong Eastern Harps side last Wednesday in first league game. They take on St Nathys this Monday and St Farnans on Mon 20th April both in Coola at 7PM.
