Our Senior team welcome St. John's to Curry for a championship encounter on Saturday evening at 6:30pm.

The Minors played Calry/St. Joseph's in their second championship match last Thursday evening and the two teams could not be separated after 60 minutes of football. Final score: Curry 2-8 Calry/St. Joseph's 1-11.


Our U16 lads suffered a 2-12 to 0-10 defeat at the hands of St. Molaise Gaels in their penultimate group match on Monday last. This team make the short trip to Tourlestrane next week for their final group stage fixture.

The U13 FĂ©ile competition starts next Wednesday evening with Curry hosting Tubbercurry/Cloonacool at 7pm.  

Our Senior Ladies travel to Keash on Sunday morning where they will face Eastern Harps in the Intermediate championship at 10am.

Our U14 girls were narrowly defeated by Coolera/Strandhill in their championship contest on Thursday last.

The U12 girls were beaten by Ballymote on a scoreline of 4-11 to 2-7 on Tuesday evening.

Best of luck to Adam Gallagher, Cashel, who has been selected to play in the mini-sevens game which takes place before the meeting of Mayo and Dublin in Croke Park on Sunday.

Well done to Tommy Gallagher and Shane Thornton on completing the Warrior Run in Strandhill last Saturday. Tommy did it in a time of 1 hr, 27 mins & 51 secs. Thanks to all who bought and sold lines on the sponsorship cards. Monies raised will go towards the development of the new underage pitch. Winners of the prizes were announced after last Monday's weekly lotto draw.
1st Prize: Martin Donohue - evening meal and B&B in the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone. (1 hr, 28 mins) 
2nd Prize: Jay Gallagher - €75. (1 hr, 28 mins)
3rd Prize: Paul Carr - €50. (1 hr, 27 mins, 40 secs)

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot worth €3,400 held on Monday, August 24th. Numbers drawn were 3, 19, 22, 23. Weekly winners were Nichola Marren, Tommy Henry and Carmel Marren. Next week's jackpot is €3,500. Tickets cost €2 or 3 for €5 and can be purchased online and in local outlets.
