Our Senior Hurlers will be the first of our teams to take to the playing field for the 2016 season when they take on Cluainin Iomaint this Saturday the 6th of Feburary at 2pm in Tourlestrane. We wish the team and management the best of luck with their Tain League campaign. 

The next meeting of the Tourlestrane GAA Development Fundraising Committee takes place on Monday the 8th of February at 8,30pm in the Clubhouse. All welcome. The committee are in final talks about a big upcoming club fundraiser.

The BULL Challenge takes place on Saturday the 27th of February on the Banada Abbey grounds with both 6km and 12km routes available. Registration has now opened. For more details visit their Facebook page or check out their website at www.thebullchallenge.com.

The next Banada Teenage Disco will take place on Friday the 12th of February (Valentines) and Friday the 18th of March (St. Patrick's Weekend).

Congratulations to St. Attracta's CS Juvenile team and management, especially our club players, who won the  Connacht Final when they beat Roscommon CBS on Friday at the Connacht GAA Centre.

Our club bingo at Banada Abbey Hall continues every Tuesday night at 8.30pm. Great opportunity to win next Tuesday when the Jackpot will be €2630 on 56 calls or less, the Snowball has reached €4,000 on 46 calls or less and the Lotto is at €260.

Our U-8 and U-10 Coaching for Boys and Girls continues in Banada Hall. It starts with a nursery for children born between 2008 and 2010 from 6pm on Thursday 21st. From 7-8 we will have U-10 Coaching for Children born in 2006 and 2007. All Parents are welcome to come along to see the Nursery programme delivered by Pat Kilcoyne. 

The club would like to offer sincere sympathies to the Leonard family, Banada, on the death of James. He is father of former senior player, Brian Leonard and uncle to 2015 senior captain, Peadar Leonard. James was a regular supporter of hurling and football teams in Tourlestrane and is survived by his wife Jo, son Brian and daughter Emer. The club would also like to offer sympathy to the Nealon and Moran families on the death of Chris. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
