Plans are at an advanced stage for our Garden Fete to be held at Monsignor Hynes Park on Sunday week May 15th from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. There will be entertainment for all the family. The event organisers are those who were behind our hugely successful Christmas Market last December so everyone can be guaranteed an excellent afternoons entertainment. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting our U14 Boys trip to Feile this June.

The next Club Lotto Draw will take place on Monday next  May 15th  at 8.30pm. Thank you to everyone for their continued support for this important fundraiser. Volunteers to assist with the running of the Lotto are urgently needed. Anyone who can spare a couple of hours once every eight weeks or so would be very welcome and can contact Thomas Kilfeather 087-2626849 or Sean Herron 087-7691850.

Our senior men's unbeaten start to the League came to an end with a 2-09 to 1-10 defeat at home to Tubbercurry on Saturday night last.  However there was much to  admire in the display of Jimmy Langan's side missing the influential Mark Quinn, plus the injured Johnny Kelly and Alan McLaughlin. Younger members of the squad such as Cathal Kelly, Dara Elliott and Daniel Keaney continue to impress. Best wishes to Cathal Herron for a speedy recovery from an ankle injury sustained during the game.

Our  Junior team played out a 2-08 to 1-11 draw away to neighbours Drumcliffe/Rosses Point  in the Division IV League on Sunday last. Next Saturday at 7.00pm the side managed by Mick McElligott, Philip Lang and Jimmy Foran are at home to St Michael's.

Underage coaching for Boys and Girls continues on Saturday morning. Girls at 10.00am and Boys at 11.15am.

Hard luck to our  U12 Girls who were beaten by an excellent Calry side on Tuesday evening last. However the same evening saw both our U12 Boys teams produce excellent performances to defeat Tubbercurry.

Our U16 Boys had a comfortable home win against St Farnan's in the Division II League on MOnday last.

Our Minor Boys had a great  3-10 to 1-11 win away to Castleconnor last week. This week the team have two home fixtures. On Tuesday  they entertain Coolaney/Mullinabreena at 7.00pm and on Friday night  they play Curry also at 7.00pm.

Tonight Tuesday our U12 Girls are away to Owebmore Gaels at 7.pm. while on Friday next our U16 GIrls are away to Shamrock Gaels.

On Wednesday night May 4th our U8 and U10 Boys travel to Ransboro for league fixtures against Coolera/Strandhill.

This Thursday our U14 Boys are way to  Drumcliffe/Rosses Point at 7.00pm.
