 Underage coaching continues on Saturday mornings at 11 am.

Collooney 60 x 30 2016 Tournament Final Results:

Francis McCann & Joel Smith v Kevin Meehan & Michael Murphy 17-21, 18-21
In a long, exciting and hard fought first round of games,  Meehan & Murphy got off to a flying start and closed out the first game by 4 aces , 21-17. McCann & Smith batteled back well in the second with lots of tough rallies but  Meehan & Murphy kept going to win the second by 3 aces , 21-18.

Gerry Coleman & Stanley Harte v Barry McDonagh & Martin Brannigan 21-5, 21-12
In the second round of games ,McDonagh &  Brannigan started strongly , leading 5-0 , but Coleman &  Harte took over , winning the first game 21-5.The second game was harder going for the eventual winners , with McDonagh &  Brannigan playing better handball and it took a great effort for Coleman &  Harte to finish the game winners ,21-12.Gerry Coleman & Stanley Harte have gone through the tournament unbeaten in all games.

John McLoughlin & Simon Cavanagh v Peter Davey & Tom Foody 21-9, 21 - 14
It was now all square and came down to the final round of games. McLoughlin & Cavanagh started well and kept pushing hard to win the first game 21-9.The lads continued to play well , but  Davey & Foody never gave up and with Davey serving expertly from the left , a comeback was on the cards at 17-14.
The mixture of youth and experience from McLoughlin & Cavanagh showed through in the end to win 21-14 and the team of F.McCann/J.Smith , G.Coleman/S.Harte ,and  J.McLoughlin/S.Cavanagh were crowned worthy winners on the night.
