Our senior men  had mixed fortunes on a busy weekend of Club activity. On Good Friday they were defeated 1-14 to 1-08 by Shamrock Gaels at home in the second round of the senior League. However an Easter Sunday trip to Curry offered an early opportunity to put Fridays disappointment behind them and the Damien Kelly and Oisin Coyne managed squad  did just that with a very impressive display resulting in a 2-14 to 0-11 win. First half goals from Ronan Keegan and Keelan Waters proved crucial. James Brennan gave an outstanding display at centrefield with good support from Paddy McGowan. Alan Carway was impressive in defence along with Jason Brennan. In attack Alan McLoughlin ably assisted by brother Jamie contributed some excellent scores. Next Sunday April 23rd  Gaels entertain Coolaney/Mullinabreena in the 4th round of League fixtures at 2.00pm.

Thanks to everyone who supported our  Fun Family Quiz in the North Sligo Sports Complex on Good Friday organised by our Junior Ladies. Particular thanks to all those who sponsored Prizes, Quiz Master Jimmy McLoughlin and in particular John Doyle and Paul Healy for their hard work in ensuring the event was an enjoyable and successful night
