It was another busy week  for the club with plenty of action on the playing  field. The under 12 team travelled  to Croke Park on Thursday  to participate  in the Go Games. The team played three games,  against  Kiltimagh,(Mayo) Kilererin(Galway) and Kiltoghert(Leitrim). The team were also given a tour of the stadium. Thanks to Oisin Connolly  and all the parents  and adults who travelled. The players were Kyle Mulligan,  Cody Gavin,  Conor Lang,  James  Golden,  Aaron Neary,  Luke Ginty,  Sean Óg Connolly,  Matthew  Conlon,  Darragh Toolan,  Callum Mc Kay,  Christopher  Lee Carey,  Donnacha and Mattie Mc Gowan.
> The minor team made it two wins out of two in the B league  when they defeated  St. Mary's  on Thursday  in Kent Park. The final score was St. Farnan's  4-12, St. Mary's 2-10. They will play Calry/ St. Joseph's  on Thursday  in Templeboy at 7 pm.
> The intermediate  team had a busy weekend. On Friday  they played Owenmore Gaels in Connolly  Park. They won on a scoreline of 0-19 to 3-8. St. Farnan's  were pleased with this performance  as 17 of the points came from play and a number of players found their names on the scoring sheet.
> On Sunday  St. Farnan's  played St. John's  in Stenson Park. This time luck was not on our side as we were defeated  by 0-10 to 0-9. St. Farnan's  had a few unavailable  players for this match. We had the better of the first half and led 0-6 to 0-4 at the break. All of our scores came from play and we should have had a greater lead as we had a number of wides.
> We got off to a great start after the break with two points from Ciaran O ' Connor  and Shane Neary. Disaster then struck when Andrew  Mc Munn was forced  out of the game with a knee injury. At that point we led 0-8 to 0-4.
> St. John's  gained momentum  after the stoppage adding three points to their tally before Ciaran  pointed a free for St. Farnan's. It was St. John's  who finished  stronger adding two points to level  matters. A final free gave them the winning  point. St. Farnan's  will be disappointed that they let this game slip despite  many good performances. James Weir and Kevin Mc Gee,  the two young players played well as did Eamonn Kilgannon  in goals amongst others. The team was E. Kilgannon,  J. Weir,  D. Taylor,  D. Hynes,  C. Gordon,  F. Cawley,  K. Mc Gee,  M. Mulligan,  Andrew  Mc Munn(0-1), J. Hynes(0-2), C. O'Connor (0-4(1f), T. Ryan,  L. Ryan,  G. Calpin(0-1), S. Neary (0-1). Subs used: Adrian  Mc Munn,  M. Mc Gowan.
