Our Junior Ladies had their first win of the League campaign overcoming CT Gaels by 3-09 to 4-05 in a thrilling game on Sunday morning last at home. The visitors lead by 3-03 to 1-06 at the interval with Clionadh McGowan contributing a goal for the Regina Feeney managed home squad. When CT Gaels quickly added 1-01 in the first ten minutes of the second period the signs looked ominous for the home side. However with Lisa Flynn and Clionadh McCowan very prominent the home side produced an outstanding last quarter to the match and a superb individual goal from Catherine Hyndman helped secure a one point victory.

Our senior men went down to a 4-12 to 2-10 defeat against a very impressive Coolaney/Mullinabreena  side at Monsignor Hynes Park on Sunday afternoon. The visitors led throughout the game with two early goals setting the tone and helping them to a 3-05 to 1-04 interval lead. Alan McLoughlin scored Gaels first half goal . Gaels did reduced the deficit to three  points midway through the second half thanks to a Cathal Burns goal but the visitors responded immediately with some excellent points to run out deserving winners. Next Saturday its a trip to take on Tubbercurry in the 5th round of fixtures. Sundays fixture saw the welcome return of Eoin McHugh to the Club.
