The U14 boys continued their A League campaign away to Curry last Thursday. With a number of key players missing the lads suffered their second defeat of the league and will be looking to bounce back in the coming weeks.

Another great performance on Sunday morning by the Ladies saw them beat Curry on a score line of 1-11 to 3-3. This is a great result against a strong Curry side. Brilliant stuff girls!

The senior men suffered a 5-15 to 0-6 defeat at the hands of a strong St Johns side in Connolly Park on Sunday afternoon. Next up is Easkey at home next Saturday in Connolly Park in what could be a season defining game. Throw in at 7pm.

The Minor Boys played out an exciting draw against Ballymote/Bunninadden on Thursday evening last. The lads went down to 14 men early in the first half but battled back to claim a valuable point. Wishing Kevin Healy also the best after the nasty injury he picked up during the game. The Minors are out again this Thursday in Connolly Park where they will face Curry.

Owenmore Gaels Girls training continues on Fridays for U-10 & U-12 6-7pm in Connolly Park. All Welcome. All children must be registered on www.owenmoregaels.ie

Owenmore Gaels U-8 boys and girls training continues this Wednesday from 6.30 to 7.30 in Connolly Park. This is for kids born in 2009 and 2010.All Welcome. Parents are encouraged to join in with the training session. All children must be registered by April 1st on www.owenmoregaels.ie and follow the link for registration.

Check out our new underage kit now available to buy at Jako Sports. This will be the playing kit for our U-10 and U-8 teams. The T-shirt (a requirement for U-8 and 10's) is €15, with an option of shorts and socks for €22 total. Sizes catering right down to our nursery kids.

The Lotto draw took place in The Owenmore Inn on Monday 17^th April. The numbers drawn were 8, 12, 20, and 24. There was no winner of the €6,300 jackpot. Congrats to our ‘Lucky Dip’ winners Jackie Malee, Ursula Lyons, Marina Nicholson and Emma Darcy who each win €30.

Thanks to everyone who continues to support the club. As there was no winner this week, the Jackpot will roll over to €6,400. The next draw will take place in Connolly’s Bar Collooney on Monday May 1^st.
