Congrats to Vivion Boyd who scooped the lotto jackpot of €2,500 at the weekend with the winning numbers of 5, 17, 20, 26. The jackpot now reverts to €1,000 with the next draw on 6th May in Tommy Macs.

The monthly club meeting takes place this Friday at 9PM in the clubhouse, preceded by the Bord Na Nog meeting.

The annual Golf Classic takes place in Carrick on Shannon on 10th June – contact Niall Kearns on 086 859 9792 or the Golf Shop to book your tee time.

The 7K Fun Run/Walk takes place next Sunday 30th April at 12PM from Coola, registration from 11 on the day. Refreshments served afterwards in the clubhouse.

Thanks to all who supported the Dinner Dance last weekend and to Ursula Lyons, Michael Brennan, Eugene Carroll and Chris O’Neill for organising the event. The player of the year awards went to, Joe Henry, Senior, Diarmuid Jinks, Junior, Liam Tuohy, U21 and Simone Kelly, Ladies. Thanks to the Boyd, Galvin, Connolly and Duncan family for the sponsorship of these awards.

The Seniors had a good 0-11 to 1-10 win over Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on Sunday. The team was: Donal Tuohy, Gavin McMorrow, Declan Willis, Andy Flynn, Ciaran O’Connor, Frank Quinn, Liam Tuohy, Joe Henry, Liam O’Connell, Eoin O’Connell, Luke Flynn, Darragh Hailstones (1-2), Daire Kearns (0-1), Keith Candon (0-2), Joe Quinn (0-4f). Subs: Alan Kelly for L Tuohy (BC), Cian McDermott (0-1) for E O’Connell, Mark Kearns for L Flynn. They now take on St Mary’s at home next Saturday at 7PM.

A depleted Junior team lost 1-17 to 1-7 to Cloonacool last Saturday. They now take on Tourlestrane at home next Sunday at 2PM.

The Ladies Senior team lost to Drumcliffe/Rosses point last Friday. The scorers were Simone Kelly (1-4), Fiona Baker (0-3), Roisin Kearns (0-1), Chloe McTiernan (0-2), Makayla McLoughlin (1-3). They also lost away to Eastern Harps on Sunday morning. The team was: Meabh McDermott, Aoife Morrisroe, Edel Lyons, Catherine Tuohy, Roisin Drury, Chloe McTiernan, Naomh Quinn, Aoife Brennan, Lousie Merrick (0-1), Roisin Kearns (0-1), Erin Mullaney, Makayla McLoughlin (1-0), Mairead Tuohy, Simone Kelly (1-3), Fiona Baker (0-2). Subs used: Lousie Benson, Eillis O’Connor, Aoife O’Connor, Sonia McDermott (0-1), Gemma O’Grady, Stacey Muldowney.

The Minor team strectched their winning run with a 2-9 to 3-8 win over Curry last week. The team was: Daniel Lyons, Emmett Dodd, Evan Lyons, Niall Whelan, Seamus Hailstones, Karl McKenna (1-0), Bryan Johnston, Sean Carroll (1-0), Dillon McDermott, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Patrick Benson (0-5) Steven Willis, Dylan Willis (1-2), Shane Deignan (0-1), Michael Barry. Subs: Ben Tuohy for Sean Carroll (inj), Adam King for Niall Whelan (inj). They now play Tubbercurry at home this Thursday at 7PM.

The U16 boys play Ballymote/Bunninaden this Monday at 7PM in Ballymote while the U16 Girls play Tourlestrane on Tuesday at 7PM in Riverstown Park.

The U14 boys lost 2-17 to 2-4 against Eastern Harps last Friday. The team was: Jack Duignan, Shane Dwyer, Aodhan Eivers, Andrew McGreevy, Jamie Parke, David Barlow (0-1), Dylan McKenna, Conor Sheridan, Adam Kearns (0-1), Johnny Kenny (0-2), Jason Kilkenny (1-0), Patrick Barrett, Aaron Conlon Liam Candon (1-0), Conor Mc Morrow. Subs used: Andrew Barlow, Charlie Mullen and Nathan Wimesy. 

The U14 girls got their league campaign off to a good start with 2-7 to 1-7 win over Drumcliff/Rosses Point last Tuesday. The team was: Emma O’Carroll, Eimear Kelly, Kate Brady, Lucy Williams, Ruby Clark, Ellie McDermott, Sorcha Mullaney, Ana McCann, Kayleigh Faughnan (0-2), Emma Crowley, Amy Willis, Nadine Hargadon (1-4), Jade Mc Morrow, Meave Lyons (1-0), Ciara Gallagher. Subs: Nola Eivers (0-1), Eleanor Murphy, Lara Swan, Sarah Mc Keon, Meabh Callaghan and Amy O’Regan. The U14 girls progressed to the Feile semi-final with wins over Geevagh and Eastern Harps on Saturday. They now play Calry in the semi-final next Saturday, venue and time to be confirmed. The U12 boys play St Mary's away this Tuesday at 7PM.

The U12 girls had a good win 16-6 over Geevagh last Friday. The team was: Sarah Carroll, Lynn Barlow, Cloda Conlon, Louise Robertson, Meabh Callaghan, Lara Swan, Amy O’Regan, Nola Eivers, Amy Malone, Clodagh Murrin, Sophie Swan, Beth Candon, Emma Rainey, Katie Brehony and Chloe Somers. They play Ballisodare away on Friday at 7PM.
The U8/U10’s are away to Ballymote this Wednesday at 7M.

The Gaelic for Mothers and Others continues on Mondays in Riverstown Park from 8-9PM - no previous experience required. Any enquiries contact Michelle 087-6157455.
