Sligo GAA is
organising a ‘’Have a Go Day’’ in
Sligo GAA Centre of Excellence,
Scarden on Sat 13th May
from 2.30 pm to 5.00pm and all parents and children and young adults are most welcome to attend this inclusive event.
‘’Have a Go Day’’ or
‘’come and try day’’ is an event where all GAA
activities are demonstrated by coaches, and the children, parents can try the
sport with guidance from coaches.
GAA activities include:
GAELIC FOOTBALL, LADIES
FOOTBALL, HURLING, CAMOGIE, ROUNDERS, HANDBALL, SCÓR, CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, HEALTH & WELLBEING & WHEELCHAIR
HURLING.
This event promises to be a family friendly fun day, and hopefully participants will enjoy the experience
and get a better understanding of GAA activities and also meet new friends.
The participants will also meet and greet County players
from Senior team, Hurling and Ladies
teams, as part of this enjoyable event.
