Division 2 League

St John’s senior team resume their league div 2 with an away fixture next Sat evening in Easkey against the home side. In order to maintain the push for promotion another win is essential.

Division 4  League

The Div. 4 league round 2 took place on Sat evening last when our lads played Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in Oxfield. The home side came out on top on a 3-6 to 0-5 scoreline. There are further fixtures scheduled for June 3rd,10th,17th and 24th.

Under 14 Football

Our K & D Developments –sponsored Under 14 team, having suffered defeat away to League-leaders Tourlestrane in the last round, had a home fixture in Stenson Park on Friday 19th against Coolera-Strandhill and were convincing winners after a great performance when they won by 6-17 to 2-7 for the visitors. This great win was followed on Monday evening in Enniscrone when our boys travelled out west and came home with another 2 points achieved in a tremendous victory over Enniscrone-Killglass  when they outscored the home team by 4-16 to 3-6. Going into the last round of the league, which will take place on June 9th away to Tubbercurry, St Johns currently lie in third place in the division. Well done to the team and management. Keep up the good work

Under 12 Boys

Hard Luck

Hard luck to Charlie Harrison and his Sligo senior team colleagues on their defeat to Mayo in Castlebar  on Sunday. The team’s performance was encouraging for a long period and this will give the team hope for the back door playoffs.
