Thanks to all who supported our annual Golf Classic at the weekend. The winners on 51 points were Colin Harte, David Quinn and Johnny Quinn. 2nd place went to Frank Waller, Peter Smith and Dave Doyle. 3rd went to Sean Carroll, Eoin Carroll and Mark Boyd. 4th went to Paul Little, Cormac Kearns and Philip Kearns. The nearest the pin was won by Dave Doyle while Sean Carroll won the longest drive. A special word of thanks to our main sponsors, Flancare and also to our other sponsors Michael Henry, Lavins Ballymote, Castle Dargan GC and Centra Caltragh. Thanks also to Niall Kearns and Eugene Carroll for organising the event and to Carrick on Shannon Golf Club for hosting us.

The junior team had a good 2-9 to 1-10 win over Eastern Harps last Friday and now take on St Marys away next Friday at 8.00PM.

The Senior team take on Curry in the Kiernan Cup next Sunday at home at 1.00PM.

It was great to catch up with the 1992 Championship winning team last weekend. Thanks to Glen McDermott for hosting the event along with the Golf presentations.

The U12 Div 1 team had a good win over Eastern Harps last week while the Div 3 lost but played very well to the end and never gave up. The teams were: Div 1 - Brian Dwyer, George Barlow, Ryan Parke, Matthew Parke, Sam Tuohy, Oisin Conlon, Ciaran Kenny, Jack Tuohy, Niall Kenny, James Foley, Daniel King. Div 3:-  Sean Kelly, Matthew Potter, Leo Scanlon, Steven Smith, PJ Scanlon, Darragh McKeon, Joris Rooney, Adam Taylor, Jack Barrett and Adam O Carroll.

The U14 girls had a good win against neighbours Geevagh last Tuesday evening and now play St Farnans away on Tuesday at 7PM. 

Well done to the U14 boys who defeated Coolera 4-16 to 3-9 last Thursday. 

Well done to the G4M&O who played in a Blitz in Sligo last Saturday. 

The lotto jackpot stands at €1,300 with the next draw this Saturday 17th in Sean Macs.

The club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Kathleen McKenna (nee Flynn) Dublin and formerly of Riverstown who died recently.
