Congratulations to our U11 Boys  and Management Team on winning  the Shield competition at the prestigious Mick Herron Tournament in Ardara Co. Donegal on Saturday last. After a couple of excellent group games the team were beaten by a single point by the highly rated St Sylvester's team from Dublin ,that subsequently won the Cup final,  in a thrilling semi final but qualified for the Shield final where they overcame another Dublin outfit St Pat's. Our U12 Boys also put in some good performances in their Section. On Bank Holiday Monday  our two U10 Boys squads also travelled to Ardara to compete in the Joe Larry Tournament and both squads did the club proud. The older group were beaten in the Plate final while the U9 side were defeated by a single score in their semi final.

Our U12 Boys  Division I and III squads travel to Oxfield this Tuesday evening to take on Drumcliffe/Rosses Point at 7.00pm. Also on Tuesday morning the Boys and Girls of Grange NS play their Cumann na mBunscoil semi finals in Scarden.

Our U14 Boys were beaten 2-12 to 1-06 by Drumcliffe Rosses Point in the last round of fixtures in the A League on Thursday night last. The team  will now play in the Shield semi final. Our U8 and U10 Girls gave some brilliant performances in last Saturdays Blitz in Oxfield against Drumcliffe/Rosses Point and Calry/St Joseph's.

Our Junior men continued their impressive form in Division IV  with a 1-17 to 0-10 win away to Coolaney/Mullinabreena  on Sunday last. The  Mick McElligott managed home side made it three wins from four in the competition and are now second in the Table . Next Friday night at 8.00pm  the team are away to St John's  at 8.00pm.

Good luck to Eoin McHugh and the Sligo team for this Saturdays All Ireland qualifier against Antrim in Markievicz Park at 5.00pm.

Underage coaching continues Saturday mornings. This is definitely a last call for  Club registration both underage and adult. Forms will be available upstairs in Clubhouse. All Management teams from U6 to senior have been forwarded details of those registered to date by our Club registrar Niall O'Connell. The assistance of all Management Teams in finalising this would be greatly appreciated.
