Owenmore Gaels are delighted to
announce our Golf Scramble Competition at Castle Dargan Golf Course. The
Competition takes place on Friday June 30th and Saturday July 1st.
it is €120 per team of four. Lots of great prizes to won which will be
announced closer to the date with prizes for ‘closest to the pin’ and ‘longest

The Men’s Division 4 team went loss
by the minimum of margins against league leaders Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on
Friday evening last in Oxfield. In what was a spirited performance from the
lads they just couldn’t muster a levelling score in the closing minutes. Next
up is Coolera/Strandhill on Friday evening in Connolly Park.
Well done the U12 boys team on their
performances on Tuesday evening last. They faced Tubbercurry/Cloonacool in two
thrilling encounters. Check the club Facebook page a run down on both games.
The U14 boys played St Molaise Gaels
on Monday evening in the Division One Shield Semi-final. After a difficult
league campaign the boys were looking to get their season back on track. Check

The Ballinacarrow Fun Run will take
place on Monday, June 26, 2017. This 7km run is a flat course and a great
starter if you are thinking of doing 10km runs later in the summer.
Registration is at 6:30 p.m. and the run starts at 7:30 p.m. Everybody welcome.
€10 per person, €3 per child or €20 family rate.

Check out our new underage
kit now available to buy at Jako Sports. This will be the playing kit for our
U-10 and U-8 teams. The T-shirt (a requirement for U-8 and 10's) is €15, with
an option of shorts and socks for €22 total. Sizes catering right down to our
nursery kids.
Our Saturday Morning Coaching continues next weekend on
the 3rd of June from 10.30 to 11.30am for ages 4 to 12. For
registered club members only. See below for registration details. We are
looking for parents to get involved as we need to ensure we have adequate

Plans for our new stand are
complete and displayed in clubhouse. We are now in the planning permission
stage. Anybody willing to join the fundraising drive with €20 per month for one

The Lotto draw took place in Connolly’s Bar on Monday June 12th.
The numbers drawn were 2, 15, 17 and 22.
There was no winner of the €6,700 Jackpot. Congrats to our ‘Match
3’ Winner Orla Gilmartin, Ballinfull who wins €100. Thanks to everyone who
bought tickets and continues to support the club. As there was no winner this
week, the Jackpot rolls over to €6,800. The next draw will take place in
Cullen’s Bar on Monday 26th June.
