Committee meeting will take place in Doddys 25th July at 9pm, can all members attend.

Last Friday night in Doddys Bar the reunion took place of Ballymote 1960 County Minor Champions.  A very enjoyable night was had as stories and re-establishing friendships took place. Chairman Frank Gallagher addressed and welcomed everyone.  Neal Farry recalled games leading to and including the final and rectified the unfinished business by presenting Fr Pat Rodgers with a replica medal as Fr Pat  was unable to play in the final due  commencing his priesthood studies in Mount Argos.  Coach of this team is Aflie  Banks and he was represented by his son Alan who received a piece of O’ Riain pottery on behalf of Ballymote GAA and Ballymote Community Parks Committee.  Minor team were Denis Kennedy, Jim Sreenan, Justin Henry RIP, Thomas Keenan, Paddy Cunney, Stephen Benton, Tommy McCann, Brendan Coleman, Brendan Benton RIP, Shane Gilhawely, Joe McGovern, Neal Farry, Paddy Prior, Sean Davey, Marcus Henry, Pat Rodgers, Liam Keirins, Peader Brennan, Rapheal Cassidy, Jim Donoghue, Vincent Hever, Seamus Fahey, John Cassidy and David Martin.  Coach Alfie Banks and John Kivelan RIP, Joe O Hara RIP, and Eugene Gilhawely RIP.

Junior team continue their unbeaten run by beating Shamrock Gaels last Saturday in Corran Pk. Team Gerry Feely, Conor Scanlon (B. Muldoon), Paul Mullin, Mike Fuery, Robbie Flannery, Kenny Meehan, Aidan Caffery, Michael Doddy, Michael Rafferty (G Rafferty), Conor Bierne, Gerard Brennan ( D Tighe), Marty Underwood ( R Killgarrif), Peter Lyons, Mark Irwin.  Final score Ballymote 5-12 Shamrock Gaels 1-9.  Next game is away to Tourlestrane 23rd July at 1pm.

Minor team play Division 1 league shield semi-final against Tubbercurry/Cloonacool in Bunninadden Community Park, 18th July at 7.30pm.

U 14 Division 1 league winners return to action 21st July at 7pm when they start their U 14 A Championship Group 1 campaign against Curry in Bunninadden Community Pk.

Their will be no U 12/11 training this week as Cul Camps will be in Ballymote.

U 10/8 play St Johns in Carraroe at 7pm Wednesday.
