Well done to our U8 Boys winners of the Cup and Shield competitions at the Tomas MacGuire Tournament in Ardara on Saturday last.

This coming Saturday we are hosting the first ever Aidan McGowan U11 Boys Blitz with our club competing against clubs from Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo, Longford, Donegal and Dublin  in honour of our deceased Club President and former Chairman of Connacht GAA Council. The eight clubs will compete for the Aidan McGowan Cup, Shield and Plate. A great days football is promised with the first games underway at  11.00am. The Club would like to acknowledge the generosity of the McGowan family in sponsoring a beautiful Perpetual  Cup for this  event.

On Friday evening last our U14 Boys opened their A championship Group 2 campaign with an emphatic win at home to St Mary's. It was the squads best performance of the season to date and suggests the possibility of a strong challenge for honours in this years championship. Also on Friday night our junior men showed a welcome return to form with a fine 3-21 to 2-08 win away to Coolera/Strandhill. Next Friday evening at 8.00pm the team are away to St Farnan's.

Our senior men will complete their Division I League campaign with an away fixture against Calry/St Joseph's in Hazlewoood on Sunday next July 30th at 1.00pm.

On  this Tuesday evening July 25th  our two Boys U12 squads are at home to Tubbercurry/Cloonacool in the Division I and III Leagues.

Our  next Club Lotto Draw take place on  Tuesday August 8th at 8.30pm. Thank you to everyone for their continued support for this important fundraiser.

Our annual "Cash for Clobber" fundraiser coincides with the return of underage coaching. If anyone has old clothes and footwear that they don't need the Club would be delighted to take these. Goods can be left at the Club  rooms on any Saturday morning.
