Congratulations to our Boys U14 squad and Management on a brilliant 3-16 to 4-05 win over St Mary's to retain the A Championship title at Markievicz Park on Thursday night last. Both teams deserve huge credit for the high standard of football served up in terrible conditions. Gaels led by 1-06 to 2-01 at the interval. St Mary's scored two  goals in quick succession midway through the second period to lead by 4-04 to 1-11. However Gaels produced a brilliant final quarter with goals from Ewan Rippan, Luke Casserly and Jack McGovern to emerge deserved winners. The whole squad have worked very hard under the management of Brian McGowan, Daragh Fallon and Stephen Carroll all season and it is a great achievement for the Club to have now won back to back titles at U14 A Grade. Coming a week after our U11 Boys won their county title it has been a very successful period for the Club.

On the same evening our U16 Girls qualified for the championship final with a 7-01 to 1-07 win at home to Coolera/Strandhill.

Our junior men have topped Group I of the B Championship after last Saturdays 0-17 to 2-08 win against Calry/St Josephs in Scarden. The team are now set for a semi final clash in a few weeks time.

Tonight Tuesday Sept 12th our U13 Boys open their Feile campaign with a home fixture against Coolera/Strandhill at 6.15pm
