There was great disappointment with the loss of the Intermediate final replay. The club are very proud of the team and management who put in so much commitment and dedication. We hope that the team can build on their progress for the future.We congratulate St.John's on their success and wish them well in the Connaught championship. A huge thank you to Kristy Murphy and staff of The Still Bar, Dromore West for providing food and refreshments on Sunday evening after the final.
Best wishes to our minor team who will contest the Minor B final on Friday at 7pm in Scarden. The team will play Coolaney / Mullinabreena.Please support.
Well done to Easkey/ St. Farnan's under 16 hurlers who have reached the semi final of the Connaught u 16 championship following a great win over Mayo champions, Westport on Saturday in Bekan. The final score was Easkey/ St. Farnan's 1-13, Westport 2-5. The club players on the team are Cahan Hallinan, Shane Molloy, Adam Kilrehill, Thomas Cawley, Fionn Connolly, Kenneth Mitchell and Tommy Esler. The team will play Roscommon champions, Four Roads on Thursday in Bekan.
Good wishes to captain James Hynes and club players with Western Gaels in the county hurling final on Sunday.
Best wishes to Dermot Browne,Garrett Mullaney and Sligo Masters in the All Ireland semi final on Saturday against Cavan in Drumlish.
A big thank you to the club's Scór na nÓg musicians who played at the Wheelchair Hurling/Camogie finals opening on Saturday in Knocknarea Arena.
