The week has finally arrived with our major fundraiser 'Strictly Come Dancing'  taking place this Friday 17th November in the Clayton Hotel, Sligo. The dancers have put in a tremendous effort over the last couple of months training and fundraising. Tickets for the event at €10 are still available - to secure yours contact any dancer or member of the committee before it is too late as tickets are limited. The event gets underway at 8.30PM so get there early to support your favourite act.

The U21 team overcame Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in the semi-final of the B Championship in difficult conditions last Saturday on a scoreline of 1-6 to 2-16. The team was: Daniel Lyons, Ben Tuohy, Evan Lyons, Alan Kelly, Karl McKenna (0-1), Andy Flynn (0-1), Enda O'Connell, Michael Kilkenny (0-1), Daire Kearns (0-1), Darragh Hailstones (1-7), Luke Flynn, Shane Deignan (0-3), Cian McDermott (1-1). Subs: Seamus Hailstones for S Deignan, James Carroll (0-1) for B Tuohy, Mark Kearns for L Flynn, Marc Keegan for C McDermott, Patrick Benson for A Kelly. They now take on Eastern Harps in the final - date and venue to be confirmed.

Entries are now been sought for Scor na nOg 2017. This is an U17 event with categories in music group, figure dancing, set dancing, solo singing, ballad singing and novelty act on Sunday 26th November at 3pm in Ballintogher Hall. The Question Time takes place on 10th December. Anyone interested in taking part should contact Yvonne Doherty or Michelle McMorrow. 

There was no winner of the lotto draw last weekend with the numbers drawn 9, 14, 24 and 27. The jackpot now stands at €2,400 with the next draw in McDermotts, Castlebaldwin next Saturday 18th. 

The club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Mark Templeton White, Ballygawley, who passed away last week.
