The charity football match run on St. Stephens day in aid of Operation Walk Ireland was an outstanding success. As nurse Mary Marren from Carrowreagh a member of the volunteer medical team travelling to Vietnam in March, to provide knee and hip replacements for people in developing countries, easily surpassed her target as more money continues to come in. We wish to thank everybody who supported Mary and her team on the day, and to all those who helped out in any way to organise this annual charity event. We wish her well on her trip there and back. Sympathy is extended to the family, friends and relatives of the late Mary Ellen Lundy Rhue, and also to the Conboy family on the recent passing of the late Seamus Conboy Ballygawley, who went to their eternal reward during the past week. Ar Dheis De Go Raibh a Anam Dhilis.
