Well done to Sligo on a comprehensive win in London this weekend. Well done also to Sligo LGFA U16 team who won the Connacht C Championship last week and to manager Fiona Lyons and Gaels players involved, Eala McDermott who captained the side, Jade Lyons, Isobel Clark and Ceili Faughnan. 

There was no winner or match 3 winner in the lotto draw last weekend. The numbers drawn were 2, 16, 17 and 28. The jackpot now stands at €3,700.


The Senior Ladies had an impressive 5-17 to 0-11 win over Owenmore Gaels in the league to maintain their 100% record. The team was: Meabh McDermott, Catherine Tuohy, Eillis O'Connor, Isobel Clark, Lousie Merrick (0-2), Naomh Quinn, Jade Lyons (2-1), Aoife Morrisroe, Roisin Kearns, Mairead Tuohy, Erin Mullaney (0-2), Rachel Boyd (0-7), Simone Kelly (1-4), Subs used: Sonia McDermott, Aoife O'Connor (2-0), Fiona Baker (0-1).

The Senior men take on Eastern Harps at home next Saturday at 7.00PM in the league.

The U16 boys were narrowly defeated 6-9 to 5-9 away to Castleconnor last Monday. The team was: Jack Duignan, Aodhan Eivers, Adam Kearns, Andrew McGreevy (1-0), Jason Kilkenny (0-1), Patrick Barrett, Eoin Dwyer, Aaron McKenna, Conor Kearns, Conor McMorrow (1-2), Jay Rogers (1-0), Shane Dwyer, Lee Duignan (2-6). Subs used: Charlie Mullen, Gareth Keville. They now play Coolera at home on Monday 14th at 7PM.

The U16 girls play St Marys at home in Coola this Tuesday at 7PM.

The U14 boys lost to Tubbercurry last Thursday. The team was: Brian Dwyer, Dylan McKenna, Daniel King (1-0), Oisin Conlon, Keelan Brehony, Jack Duignan, Conor Sheridan, Aaron Colon, Conor Mc Morrow (1-1), Troy Gilgarro, Ciaran Kenny, James Foley (0-2). Subs used: Jack Tuohy, Ryan Parke, Nathan Wimsey . They now play Drumcliffe on Saturday at 10.30AM in Riverstown Park.

The U12 boys lost 9-1 to St Pats last Tuesday in difficult conditions. Their next game is on Tuesday 15th at home to St Michaels.

The U12 girls had a good win in their last group game against Ballisodare. They now wait to see who they play in the quarterfinal this Thursday. 

The club wish to express sympathy with Sheila Reynolds, Gadden on the death last week of her brother Owen McGowan, Tullaghan, Leitrim.
