Gaels Sports Prediction Quiz 2018**
How
well do you know your sports? Well enough to bag yourself €250 in cash?
Test yourself by correctly predicting the outcome of 25 various sporting events
to take place between now and the end of the year. Your have 4 choices which
will reward various points based on the favourites in each category. The person
with the most points wins!
It is €10 to enter, entry forms can be got from any senior team member, from
Connollys Bar, The Owenmore Inn, Cullens, For Petes
Steak or Pyramid bookmakers, or print off the attached sheet and give to any
club member.Runners-up and 3rd place prizes also of €100 and €50.

**Marathon
relay and Fun Day**
The Club is hosting
a Fun day along with a Marathon Relay on May 27th at Connolly Park. There
will be face painting, tiny tots race, sack race, wellie throwing, 3 legged
race, and water drop. The benefits of the event will go towards the club and
our u14 boys side who are representing Sligo in the All Ireland Feile at the
end of June. All participants welcome, with an entry fee of €5. For more

Well done to the
division 4 team who got their campaign of to a winning start in a high scoring
and entertaining game. Highlights a brace of points from Sligo master Gary
Mullen and a superb winner from Paul Hannon at the end.

Well done to the U-12 and U-11 boys teams who
came out on top in two tight games against Ballymote/Buninnadden last Tuesday
evening.
The U-12’s got their first win of the season
with a 0-14 to 0-13 win in a close and exciting game.
The U-11 team continued their impressive form
with similarly close fought win, 0-17 0-14 the final score. Well done to players and mentors
Well done to the U-14 boys who beat St. Molaise Gaels on
Sunday Morning on a 5-12 to 5-6 scoreline. Great win lads.
Well done to the Senior Ladies who beat Coolera/Strandhill on
Sunday morning to qualify for a league playoff and a chance to make the final.

team will take on CT Gaels in Connolly Park, Collooney on Sunday, May 27 at 10
am. The winner will book a place in the final against Shamrock Gaels. Best of
luck to the ladies, all support appreciated.
The U16 girls are in the Division 2 Final next Wednesday evening. They
face Eoghan Rua in Templeboy with throw in at 7pm. Please come out and support
the girls.
A huge thank you to St John’s as they hosted our u8/u9 and u10 teams in
Cleveragh last week. An enjoyable evening was had by all.
Our Saturday
morning coaching continues on Saturday mornings, 10am-11am in Connolly Park. For
ages 4-10years. A fun introduction to football . To participate kids must be registered. See the club

join up with any of our underage team from U-10 to U-18 or to play senior

Check out our
new underage kit now available to buy at Jako Sports. This will be the playing
kit for our U-10 and U-8 teams. The T-shirt (a requirement for U-8 and 10's) is
€15, with an option of shorts and socks for €22 total. Sizes catering right
down to our nursery kids.

Club Lotto
The Lotto draw took place in Connolly’s Bar on Monday 14th
May. The numbers drawn were 3,8,16,18.
There was no winner
of the €9,100 Jackpot. Congrats to lucky dip Winners Kevin Callaghan, Stuart
Fallon, Ryan Clancy and also our online lucky dip winner Maria Collery who get €30
each. As there was no Jackpot Winner this week, the Jackpot rolls over to €9,100.
The next draw will take place on Monday 14th May in Connolly’s Bar Collooney.
