Senior
Our senior team drew with Bunninadden, on a scoreline of 2-14 to 3-11
out in Bunninadden on Saturday evening. Easkey were leading for long periods of
the game but Bunninadden finished strongly to level the game approaching injury
time. Next up is a Benson Cup fixture against St Patricks on Saturday evening the
26th May at 6pm in Easkey.
Junior
Our Junior team made the trip down to Molaise Gaels, Grange last Sunday for
Round 2 of the division 4 league. Molaise Gaels ran out winners on a scoreline
of 2-19 to 2-9. Next up is Owenmore Gaels in Easkey next Sunday at 2pm for
round 3.
U17 Sligo
Hurling
Best of luck to all the Easkey/St Farnans lads in the U17 Celtic
Challenge game vs Mayo on Wednesday the 23rd May in Toreen.
Sligo Hurling
Well done to Joe McHugh who was on the Sligo Hurling team that beat
Lancashire on a scoreline of 4-14 to 2-19 last weekend. They play Fermanagh
this Saturday in Tourlestrane at 3pm.
Minor
Easkey/Enniscrone -Kilglass minors received a walkover against Owenmore
Gaels in the last round of the league last Friday (May 18th).
U16
The Easkey/Enniscrone-Kilglass u16s play Castleconnor on Wednesday
evening at 7pm in Quigabar in round 6 of the Division 2 league.
Underage Hurling
Underage Hurling training continues during the week as follows.
Saturday morning – u8s, u10s

Rounders
Rounders training continues on Monday nights for girls 7-16 years old
from 5.30 to 7pm in Owenbeg school pitch. 41 girls registered so any new
members are always welcome. They will be attending the u13 Feile on the 4th
June in the Heath GAA club in County Laois so best of luck to all involved.
Roisin McHugh is leading a Rising Star Programme to develop skills in the u10
age group. Contact Claire McGuire if interested in joining up.
U8-U10
Training continues on Saturday morning at 10 on the Astro Turf in Owenbeg
for all U8 and U10s.
U12- U14
Training continues for the u12 and u14 teams during the week.
