Intermediate

Our intermediate team put in a disappointing display to lose out to St Farnan’s by three points, 2-16 to 3-10, at Templeboy last Sunday afternoon. The team will hope for significant improvement ahead of an important Benson Cup fixture against Easkey next Sunday at 1pm in Quigabar. Your support would be appreciated.

Minor/U-16

Continued good luck to all club players currently sitting state examinations.

U-14

Our U-14s travel to Ballintogher on Thursday evening to play Geevagh/St Michael’s. Throw in is at 7pm.

U-12

Our U-12s return to action on June 19th at home to Curry.

Gerry Gilroy RIP

There was widespread shock in the community last week following the sudden passing of Gerry Gilroy, Drinaghan, Kilglass. Gerry played football and hurling with the club at underage level and later in life was a committee member as PRO. The club provided a guard of honour at last Sunday’s funeral mass. We extend our deepest sympathies to Gerry’s wife Hannah and the entire Gilroy family at this sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
