On Saturday last we hosted the hugely successful "Hugh McLoughlin" tournament at Hazelwood.
This year's tournament took a different format in that along with playing games the young u/10 teams had to take part in shooting exercises and skills and drills tests.
When all the points were added up, it was the local team Calry St Joseph's who defeated both Enniscrone and St Michael's to win the to.win the much coveted trophy.
A sincere thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a huge success in memory of such a great man, and especially to Enniscrone and St Michael's for making the journey in to partake with us . Also a very special World of Tanks to our referee for the day Declan O'Boyle
The winning team on the day were Bríain McGauran (Capt), Colm Gonley, Garrett Cummins, Shane Flynn, Síne Kelly, Finn Lee Downes, Daniel Cornyn, Daryl Anderson, Ella O'Boyle, Dualta McGauran, Erin Cox, Matthew Mulligan, Jayden McNasser, Dylan Craig , Eabha Gonley, Shannon Moran and Aaron Scanlon. Coached by John O'Reilly and Brian óg McGauran.
The U10 girls played Ballisadare recently putting in a good performance. Thanks to John Cox who supplied after match refreshments for both teams.
No game for the seniors this week as St Michael's were unable to field a team.
The juniors suffered a heavy defeat to Naomh Molaise Gaels  on Saturday evening at Hazelwood.

The very best of luck to all our Club players playing with both Sligo teams on Saturday next in Croke Park and Marlievicz Park respectively.
