U17 Sligo Hurling

A massive congratulations to all the local lads on the u17 Sligo Hurling team who won the  Celtic Challenge Division 5 All Ireland final against Donegal  in Bord na Mona O Connor Park, Tullamore last Saturday on a scoreline of 2-8 to 3-12. They put in a huge performance and in the end got what they deserved with a comprehensive victory.

Senior

Our seniors lost to Geevagh on Sunday down in Geevagh on a scoreline of 3-11 to 0-13 points in the Division 2 league. Our lads will be disappointed with the performance at times and the manner in which a couple of the goals were conceded. Next up is the Benson Cup final against Calry/St Joseph`s next Sunday 8th July at 12 oclock in Quigabar, Enniscrone. Please support.

Senior Hurling

Our hurlers lost to a strong Coolera/Strandhill last Saturday morning in the first round of the championship on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-23 in Easkey. Next up in round 2 is Tourlestrane penciled in for next weekend out in Tourlestrane.

U17 Sligo Football

Comiserations to all the local lads on the Sligo minor team who lost to Leitrim last weekend in the minor football championship on a scoreline of 2-14 to 13 points. They play away against Roscommon this Friday at 7pm in for round 5.

Cul Camps

The Cul Camps summer camps will be in Easkey this week Mon 02nd July to Fri 06th July. Sports included are Football, Hurling, Rounders and Camogie. For further info please contact  Tommy Lavelle on 087-7710536

U8-U10

Training continues on Wednesdays at 7pm and Saturday mornings at 10 in the pitch for all U8 and U10s.                

Drive for Jonathan

The Drive for Jonathan will take place this Sunday 8th July to raise funds for Jonathan Higgins who had a motorbike accident in Dubai before Christmas. The run will begin at 3pm with registration from 2pm. Please spread the word and support it if you can.
