The Intermediate team lost to St Farnans this weekend with a score line of 2-11 to 2-18. This loss see’s them move down to Division 3 for 2019. The team on duty was S Clancy. G Walsh. C McTeirnan. G McGowan. P Flanagan. O Gilmartin. P Kelly. P McTeirnan. S Clerkin. R McLoughlin. K Carty. J Mackey. N Mullen. B Taaffe. R Walsh. Subs were D O’Brien. Sean Clerkin. F McLoughlin. R Healy. C Harte. Training continues as usual for upcoming Championship and all players are asked to attend. 

The club hosted a very successful Kellogg’s Cul Camp during the week with over 80 children from the surrounding area taking part. The club wish to thank Pat Kilcoyne and all his coaches for making it such a good Camp. It was great to have Connacht games Manager and Roscommon player Cathal Cregg visit the camp during the week. 

The official opening of St Michael’s new pitch will take place on the 9th September 2018 and is to be named in honor of the late PJ Linnane who was a brilliant stalwart of the club. PJ was a former treasurer of the club and also a member of Markievicz Park committee. 
Events will take place between 1pm-5pm. Official opening will take place at 3.30pm sharp. All welcome to attend.
