The Cloonacool/Tubbercurry U-14 footballers will take on Coolera/Strandhill in the league shield final in the Sligo centre of excellence on this coming Friday evening 20th July at 7pm. They recorded a good win over St. Molaise Gaels last week on a 5-6 to 1-8 scoreline. The U-16 footballers have a championship game against Cooloera/Strandhill on Monday evening 16th July at 7pm in Kilcoyne Park. The minor footballers have an away championship game against Owenmore Gaels in Connolly Park on Thursday evening next 19th July at 7pm. Our Junior team went down to a strong Ballymote outfit in Corran Park on Friday evening last in a ding -dong battle on a 2-15 to 2-10 scoreline in the last round of the league. This was a much improved performance on recent outings. Although short a number of regulars the lads on duty spared no effort in taking the game to the league finalists. They lined out as follows-N.
