U 16 team won their Division 1 league Shield final after an epic battle which went to extra time beating Curry in Tubbercurry last Monday.  This game had everything and great credit to all players on both teams.   Ballymote/Bunninadden were in control of the game in the first half leading at half-time by 2-7 to 0-5.  Second half Curry were the team in control and B/B needed to score the equalizer to bring this game to extra time.  In the second period of extra time B/B scored 4 unanswered points and came away winning by 4.  Team Kyle Gormanly, Oisin Moffatt, Connor Mitchell, Jim Sweeney, Daniel Breslin (Tristan Regan), Ronan Keenan, Roland Scanlon, Connor Finn 0-2, Jack Lavin capt 0-1, Aaron Brennan 0-1, Oisin Gormely 3-4 (Red card replaced by Daniel Breslin Extra time), Shane Murray (Patrick McDonagh), Cian Kilcoyne 1-4, Zac O Dowd 1-5, Finn Underwood 0-1 (Garrett Gallagher).  Subs Mathew Reynolds, Sonny Muldoon. Management team Pat Moffatt, Michael Finn, Stephen Murray and Dermot Gormanly.  Championship starts on 16th July at 7pm playing Geevagh/St Michaels in Bunninadden.  

Ballymote senior team are preparing for Senior League Division 3 final against Owenmore Gaels in Cloonacool next Sunday 22nd July at 12.30pm. They played Cloonacool last Friday.  Final score Ballymote 2-15 Cloonacool 2-10.    Good luck to players and management  and they hope to see plenty of support.

Minor championship for Ballymote/Bunninadden starts 19th July against Shamrock Gaels at 7pm in Coola. 

Club members draw was held last Saturday night in Doddys Bar,  1st prize 500e Haydens Bar, 2nd 100e Matty Regan, 3rd 100e Karina Underwood, 4th 100e David Cannon , 5th Conor Hannon CH Construction 50e, 6th Kris Cizmek 50e, 7th Caroline Conlon 50e, 8th Dominic Lavin 50e.  Ballymote GAA Club appreciates the support we have received for this Club draw. 

Cul Camps are in Ballymote this week and 'walk in' are accepted. 

U 12 team are preparing for Division 1 Shield semi-final 24th July and U 14 team played their final league game against Drumcliffe/Rosses Point and were unfortunate to lose by 6 points.
