Intermediate

Our Intermediate team get their Championship campaign underway next Sunday afternoon at 1pm in Tourlestrane against neighbours Castleconnor. Best of luck to the players and management for the upcoming campaign. Please lend your support to the team if at all possible for this local derby next Sunday.

Minor

The Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey minor team have a rescheduled league fixture away to Ballymote/Bunninadden next Friday at 7pm.

U-16

The Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey U-16s played out an entertaining draw with Tourlestrane last Monday in the B Championship. They face another away trip on Monday (July 29th) when they travel to Shamrock Gaels for a 7pm throw-in.

U-14

Our U-14s commence their B Championship campaign on Friday evening with an opening round tie away to Drumcliffe/Rosses Point from 7pm.

U-12

Our U-12s had a very busy week but unfortunately came out on the losing side in two finals. Despite a gallant effort last Thursday at Scarden, they were beaten (in only their second defeat of the year) by an impressive Geevagh outfit, 0-22 to 0-10, the Division Two Cup final. On Sunday, they participated in the Billy Anderson Cup organized by the Ardnaree Sarsfields club and following wins over Lahardane MacHales and Castleconnor progressed to the decider but fell short against the hosts. Despite these two losses this team and squad has shown very well throughout the year. Well done to all the players and management.

Cúl Camps

A huge thanks to all participants, parents and coaches involved in last week’s massive Cúl Camp at Quigabar. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves!

Mothers and Others blitz

Saturday provided a major highlight of the football year so far following a superbly run Mothers and Others blitz at Quigabar as part of the Enniscrone Black Pig Festival. This was organized by the Enniscrone/Kilglass Mothers and Others group. 11 teams from across Sligo and Mayo took part, with plenty of off-the-field activity also available for all ages! Well done to all involved on running such a successful event that garnered praise from many throughout the day.

Club lapel pins

There are a limited number of lapel pins showcasing the club crest – and importantly the correct spelling of Enniscrone as Gaeilge agus as Béarla – available at present. They are a quality item that would make a great present, and also show your support for the upcoming plebiscite on the town name. They are available from any committee member for €10.

Blotto

The blotto continues every Sunday night. Your support is greatly appreciated.
