Well done to St. Farnan's/ St. Pat's under16 team on defeat of Coolera/ Strandhill on Monday last in Ransboro on a score of 5-15 to 2-14. This was a very competitive game despite the final scoring difference . St. Farnan's/ St. Pat's led comfortably at half time by 3-8 to 0-9 but half way through the second half Coolera levelled the scoring,3-8 to 2-11. We dominated the latter stages with great work done by Fionn Connolly and Jim Davis amongst others. The team was Jack Cadden, Adam Bonner, Shane Molloy, Niall Hallinan, Adam Kilrehill, Jack Dennison, Thomas Cawley (1-3(1f), Fionn Connolly (1-3), Kenneth Mitchell (0-1), Jim Davis (1-7), Oisin Mc Donald(0-1), Ethan Johnston, David Neary(1-0). Sub:can Ted Kilgannon (for Ethan Johnston)(1-0).The team will play Coolaney/ Mullinabreena on Monday at 6pm in Templeboy. Please note the earlier starting time.Well done to St. Farnan's/ St. Pat's minor team on defeat of Tourlestrane by 2-19 to 4-10 in the second round of the minor B championship. Easkey/ St. Farnan's under 14 football team begin their championship with a first round game in B against Calry/ St. Joseph's in Templeboy  on Friday at 7.
Easkey/ St. Farnan's minor hurlers had a walk over against Ben Bulben Gaels on Thursday last. They play away to Tubbercurry on Thursday at 7pm.
Hard luck to the Junior team who missed out on a place in the Division 4 league final following defeat by Easkey on Monday last in the final round of the league. The score was St. Farnan's 2-9, Easkey 3-10.
Congratulations to intermediate player Andrew Mc Munn on his recent marriage to Sarah Carey. We wish the couple every happiness for the future.
The closing date for registration for our two day football camp is August 6. The camp is on August 13 and 14 ,from 10am-2pm and caters for boys and girls aged 4-14.
The next 50/50 draw is on Sunday, August 12. This week's winner was Chris Conlon. She won €200.
