Intermediate

Our intermediate team will meet Ballymote again next weekend after the sides couldn’t be separated in last Saturday’s Intermediate Championship quarter-final at Cloonacool. It finished 0-10 apiece after a very tight contest, with a late free earning us a share of the spoils. The replay is scheduled for next Sunday at 2pm in Kilcoyne Park, Tubbercurry. Your support for the team would be greatly appreciated.

Minor

The Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey minor team had an encouraging 3-9 to 1-8 win over Eastern Harps at Quigabar last Friday in the final group game in the A Championship. The win leaves them with two wins from five games; they await other results to find out their fate.

U-16

The Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey U-16s overcame Tourlestrane, 3-15 to 2-8, to book their place in the B Championship final on Monday evening (September 17th) when they play St John’s at 6.30pm in Kilcoyne Park, Tubbercurry. Best of luck to all the players and management.

U-14

Our U-14s season came to an end with a disappointing 5-10 to 2-12 loss to Eastern Harps in Keash last Friday evening. Thanks to the players, parents and coaches for their efforts throughout the year.

U-13

Our U-13 team put in an impressive display to end as 8-15 to 2-3 winners over Curry last Tuesday. They face St Molaise Gaels in the quarter-finals this Tuesday evening at 6.30pm in Monsignor Hynes Park, Grange.

County final

The Sligo Senior Football Championship final will take place in Quigabar on Sunday, October 14th.

Club lapel pins

There are a limited number of lapel pins showcasing the club crest – and importantly the correct spelling of Enniscrone as Gaeilge agus as Béarla – available at present. They are a quality item that would make a great present, and also show your support for the upcoming plebiscite on the town name. They are available from any committee member for €10.

Blotto

The blotto continues every Sunday night. Your support is greatly appreciated.
