Team News

We were busy painting the town blue and yellow last weekend as we build up to a number of finals in the coming weeks.
Next Saturday our U-14 girls play in the C Championship Final vs St.Johns. Venue and time TBC.
Our U-13 lads have reached the B Fèile final against St.Molaise Gaels, where we will look to defend our title, date and venue TBC. The lads reached the final this year after a close fought game with Geevagh/St.Michaels last Tuesday. We edged an epic contest by 3 points, 8-9 8-5.
Next Sunday the men's team play Easkey for the Junior A Championship. The team have been working hard since last week's semi-final in preparation for what will be a serious test but one the lads are relishing. Throw-in is at 12:30pm in Cloonacool.

The Senior Ladies had a hard-fought win against Calry/St. Josephs on Sunday morning. The girls battled back from a 7-point deficit at half time to win the game by a point. They showed some great teamwork and resilience to get back in the game. Well done girls! They are home to Coolera at 10am next weekend. All support appreciated.

Club News

Thank you so much to our club members who turned out in force today for the Coolera Strandhill Gaa vs Tourlestrane GAA championship semi-final. From the lads in the car park, the girls in the shop, the stewards around the ground and all who put in a big effort preparing the grounds, thank you and well done
We got to witness a cracking game, in which 60 mins couldn't decide a winner, well done to both sides.

Well done to Jude Mannion who ran the Sligo coast to Coast on Sunday. Jude was fundraising to buy new mobile training goalposts for the club and the youth teams. Final figure that was raised to be announced shortly! Thanks to all who supported.
