The Community Park was honoured with hosting a fantastic Intermediate County final on Sunday last. Curry and Shamrock Gaels provided wonderful entertainment for the huge crowd and a draw was a fair result in the end. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out with the parking, shop, stewarding and traffic management. A special word of thanks to Stanley Goulden for the use of his field for the day. The replay has been announced for 2.00pm next Sunday in Ballinalack Community Park.
The park would like to congratulate Padraig McLoughlin after his achievements in the 1968 Minor All-Ireland final were honoured at half time in the Senior County Final.
Registration for the fitness for all programme is on Thursday night next at 8.00pm in the park. The cost is €30 for a six week programme and both ladies and gents are welcome. The programme is being run in conjunction with Sligo Sports Partnership.
