The Senior team will have to do it all again next weekend after they drew with Curry in the Intermediate Championship Final last Sunday. The Gaels were three points up going into the closing stages only to see a Curry revival to share the spoils on a scoreline of 2-11 to 0-17. The replay is scheduled for next Sunday at 2PM in Bunninadden. The team was: Donal Tuohy, Ben Tuohy, Paul Higgins, Evan Lyons, Karl McKenna (0-1), Keith McMorrow, Andrew Flynn, Joe Henry, Michael Kilkenny, James Carroll, Frank Quinn, Dillon McDermott, David Quinn (0-4), Brian Boyd (0-4), Darragh Hailstones (2-2). It was disappointment for the Senior Ladies in Cloonacool as they lost the Junior Championship final to Curry on a scoreline of 3-11 to 1-10. The Gaels gave a solid first half performance and led by four at the interval but playing against a strong breeze in the second half the Gaels never hit form with second half goals from Curry proving decisive. The team was: Meabh McDermott, Eillis O'Connor, Aisling Boyd, Catherine Tuohy, Naomh Quinn, Aoife Morrisroe, Roisin Durey, Jade Lyons (1-0), Siobhan Brennan, Rachel Boyd (0-2), Erin Mullaney (0-2), Roisin Kearns (0-2), Lousie Merrick,  Simone Kelly (0-2), Aoife O'Connor. Subs: Mairead Tuohy (0-2) for A O'Connor, Isobel Clark for E O'Connor, Makayla McLoughlin for S Brennan, Fiona Baker for S Kelly. Thanks to the team for their work this year, disappointing that we have no title but good progress to reach both league and championship finals. Hard luck to the U13 Feile team who lost the A final to St Marys last Thursday. The team was: Sean Kelly, Joris Rooney, Oisin Conlon, Ryan Parke, P J Scanlon, Daniel King, Jack Tuohy, George Barlow, Ciaran Kenny, Steven Smith, Sam Tuohy, Aaron Coleman, Jack Barrett, Brian Dwyer, James Foley (C). There was no winner of the lotto last weekend. The numbers drawn were 8, 16, 18, 20. The winner of the house draw was Jessica Sweeney. The next draw is on Nov 3rd in Hartes with the jackpot at €4,900.

The club wish to express sympathy with the family and relative of Dale Scamp, son in law of Michael Henry who died recently in London. A moments silence was observed at the Intermediate game on Sunday for Dale. The club also express sympathy with the family and relatives of Eugene O'Brien, Lavally who died at the weekend.
