Operation Transformation
Our latest Operation
Transformation continues. It is not too late to join up if you feel like
getting in shape for Christmas and having good fun while doing so, you can give
Seamus a call on 085 249 8067. There are circuits classes on Tuesdays at 7pm
and on Fridays at 8pm and a pilates class on Saturday mornings at 8.45am. All
classes run for 60 minutes.
Texas Hold’em Poker Classic
On Sat next
Nov 17th St Johns GAA are holding a Texas Hold’em Poker Classic in
Carraroe Community Centre starting at 8.00pm. Great prizes to be won – 1st,
2nd, 3rd place cash prizes. Initial buy-in is E20 for

St Johns Lotto
The St
John’s Lotto Jackpot stands at a massive E12,600 and the draw took place on Sat Nov 11th
in Harry’s Bar, High St. The numbers drawn were 3, 7, 23 and 31. There was no
winner of the Jackpot prize. The winners of the E25 consolation prizes were
Gerry Clancy, Joe McDonnell Drive; Carmel Kilgannon, Cornageeha; Pat Dooney,
Green Road and Sinead Kenny, Knocknaganney. The next draw will take place in
The Clubhouse, Cuilbeg on Sat Nov 24th at 9.00pm Tickets at E2 each
or 3 for E5 can be purchased at Molly Fulltons, Carraroe; Gerry Mc Morrow’s
shop, Cairns Rd; Clifford Electrical, Carraroe; The Blue Lagoon, Riverside;
Canning’s House and Garden, Cornageeha and The Crozon Inn, Caltragh. So to in
with a change of winning that big prize to liven up the Christmas be sure to
get your ticket early as if you are not in you cant win !
St John’s AGM 2018
The 2018 AGM
of our club will take place on Sunday Nov 25th at 7.00pm in The
Sligo Park Hotel. All club members and newcomers are invited to attend. We
would especially welcome the parents of our underage boys and girls teams to
this important meeting to discuss the future plans for our club.
