Congratulations

Congratulations and well done to Paul Mc Namara and Brian Mc Gowan on their performances for Sligo against Roscommon in the FBD league semi-final held in Hyde Park, Roscommon on Sunday. Both lads showed up well throughout the game against what was almost a full strength Roscommon team who will feature in Div 1 of the National League while Sligo will compete in Div 3, so losing out by 3 points was an encouraging result for new Sligo manager Paul Taylor.

Sympathies

At our January club meeting votes of sympathy were passed to the Burns family, Carraroe on the recent death of Mary Burns, and to the O’Hehir family, Kevinsfort on Eddie O’Hehirs recent death.
