Benson Cup Fixtures

The Benson Cup fixture list for 2019 has been announced by the Sligo GAA. Our senior team have been drawn to play St Patricks, Dromard in a Preliminary Round Fixture which will be played on either Sat March 2nd or Sun March 3rd in Stenson Park, Cuilbeg. The winners of that game will go on to play St Farnans in the quarter final on the weekend of March 23rd.       

 Football for Mothers and Others

Following of the success of the football for mothers and others last year and the many great performances in Stenson Park on St Stephen’s Day, you will all be delighted to hear that this season’s sessions will soon commence. So if there are some ladies who want some healthy exercise in a fun-filled environment please join up now. Further information can be got by contacting Sarah at 0876442878

Bord Na nOG Training

The St Johns Bord nOg indoor training   continues each Saturday in The Sligo Tennis Club, Old Bundoran Rd. for the U12 Boys (Born 2007 to 2008) from 3-4pm and the Boys U14 (Born 2005 to 2006) from 4-5pm. On Sundays training is held at The Sligo Sports Complex, Cleveragh for the Boys U8 (Born 2011 to 2012) from 2-3pm and Boys U10 (Born 2009 to2010) from 3-4pm. This is followed by the Girls U8 –U10 (Born 2009 to 2012) from 4-5pm and then the Girls U12 and U14 (Born 2005 to 2008) from 5-6pm. These sessions are free for paid up club members. The U16 boys will begin on  Saturday next Feb 23rd from 11.00 to 1.00 at The Sligo Sports Complex, Cleveragh For more details please check the St Johns club website or contact Fergal at 087 6760277

Best wishes to Paul Mc Namara and Brian Mc Gowan, our two representatives in Paul Taylor’s Senior squad who face Louth in Round 4 of the National League on Sunday next. All at St Johns hope they succeed in gaining their first win of the campaign.

Operation Transformation

The Operation Transformation Campaign continues with full steam ahead for the next few weeks with sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights and on Saturday mornings

Sympathies
