Operation Transformation
Now that OT has come to an end we would like to thank everyone who helped out and contributed to very safe and enjoyable Thursday evening walks. A special word of thanks and congratulations to our very own OT participant Paul Murphy.
Paul represented South Sligo and Tubbercurry excellently and was a great inspiration to everyone.
Seniors.
Well done to our seniors who won their first outing of the season with a 2:10 1:12 victory over Shamrock Gaels.
Fixtures
Next Saturday the 9th of March at 4pm our U21s start their championship campaign in Kent Park against St. Marys. On Sunday evening the 10th at 4pm our U12s take part in a football Blitz in Cloonacool where they will host Tourlestrane and Curry.
Best of luck to all.
Underage.
Now that all teams are back in training it is important that parents insure that their youngsters are registered. If not please do so immediately as "no payment means no insurance cover". If there are any new families or players in the town please let them know that they are very welcome to become involved.
Sligo Ladies
Well done to Sligo ladies who've got back to winning ways under the watchful eyes of our own club men John o Hara and David Curran.
Obituaries
Everyone in Tubbercurry GAA Club would like to pass on their condolences to the family and friends of Joe Dunne who passed away suddenly during the week. May he rest in peace
