All Ireland Champions

A massive well done to the Sligo Hurlers and backroom team who won the Nicky Rackard Cup last weekend against Armagh. A huge achievement!

 

Senior Men Division 4

Well done to the mens division 4 team who overcame Geevagh on Friday evening in Ballisodare on a scoreline of 3-14 to 3-09. An excellent performance with an exhibition of score taking and stout defending throughout. We take on Castleconnor in the final round of the league.

U14 Boys

Well done to our U14 lads who overcame Geevagh/St. Michaels yesterday evening to reach the A league shield final last Wednesday. The final is played this Monday against Easkey St. Michaels. See our facebook page for the result! Best of luck lads!

 

U10 Girls

More match experience for Owenmore Gaels GAA Club U10 girls last Wednesday. Thanks to Mairead Gonley and Calry St Josephs GFC. A keenly contested 7 all draw. The hospitality at the end from Calry with treats for our girls was a lovely gesture. 

 

Owenmore Gaels Hosting the Féile

All at Owenmore Gaels would like to extend a warm welcome to Naomh Eoin (Antrim) and Warwickshire who are also participating in the Feile next weekend. Families throughout the area will be hosting the players and teams for the weekend. Best of luck to all and hope ye enjoy the weekend!

 

Féile Table Quiz Fundraiser

Thank you very much to all who supported our table quiz last Friday for next weekends Féile. A great quiz put together by quizmaster John Healy and Pat Barrett.

Wheelchair Hurling

Best of luck to Owenmore Gaels man Stephen Melvin and all the squad who represent Ireland in The Netherlands at the 2019 European Para Games Floorball International event at the end of June.

 

Nursery Programme 2019

Owenmore Gaels Nursery programme continues this Saturday morning the FAIRGREEN in Collooney from 11 to 12. This is an introduction to Gaelic Football for kids in the community in a fun filled environment. This is aimed for children aged between 4-6. Parents are invited to participate in activities. Cul Camps

Owenmore Gaels are delighted to host Cul Camps this summer from Monday 29th of July to Friday the 2nd of August. For more info contact our facebook page.

 

Foundation Course

Golf Fundraiser

Pitchside Signs

The club are currently reaching out to local businesses to advertise at Connolly Park in the form of a pitch side sign.

Lotto

The Lotto draw took place in Cullen's Bar on Monday 10th June. The numbers drawn were 13,20,31 & 32

There was no winner of the €10,000 Jackpot. Congrats to our ‘Match 3’ Winner Deirdre Gethins who wins €100.

The next draw for our €10,000 Jackpot will take place on Monday 24th June in The Owenmore Inn.
