The junior team went down to a one point defeat to St John’s following a very spirited effort. At one stage in the second half they trailed by 11 points but fought back to lose by the minimum. This was a very committed team performance with Brian Callaghan giving an outstanding display.

Mairead Gonley and her U10 girls went to Owenmore Gaels and played their hearts out, well done girls.

U12 girls training continues in Ballinode on Tuesdays from 6-7,  All training is taking place as per schedules.

Bird NaNog are looking forward to welcoming Feile U14 boys team from Adare in Co Limerick and the U14 girls team from Lancashire. Our club are looking forward to giving them a huge Calry welcome to Hazelwood.   There had been lots of organising, arranging host families, sponsorship and the ladies and gents providing teas, coffees and sandwiches. A big thank you to all involved.

The lotto draw will take place in the clubhouse on Thursday June 27th at 8.30 in the clubhouse.
