Senior Football; On Sunday afternoon our senior team
suffered a 1 – 13 to 0 – 8 defeat in their round 9 League game against Calry-St
Josephs in Hazelwood and as a result they find themselves relegated to Div 3
for next year’s competition. The unavailability of the influential Charlie
Harrison and Paul McNamara was a big setback and while those on duty tried hard
they were always on the back-foot against a Calry side who have qualified for
the League final. St Johns lineout N Hynes; J Sayers, C Sweeney, H Cawley; E
