Naomh Eoin secured a berth in the Sligo championship semi-final place with a hard-fought draw against Easkey after last Saturday's exciting encounter at Kent Park. Both teams were missing a number of regulars, with Naomh Eoin leading 1-10 to 0-10 at half-time thanks to the accuracy of Tony O'Kelly-Lynch with 0-6 from both play and placed balls and a goal from full forward Matt Davey.

In the second half, inspired by the accuracy of free-taker Joe McHugh, Easkey drew level and took a one point lead, before Gerard O'Kelly-Lynch equalised on the whistle.

Earlier Colm Dolan finished off a great move with a strike to the net from close in for Naomh Eoin second goal and centre-forward Paul Kilcoyne was effective with 0-4 from play despite the close attention of county player Rory McHugh.
