St Johns GAA Lights Up 2020
Come along and join in our community walk in Cuilbeg every Tuesday and Thursday. The walkway is suitable for all ages and abilities and is open to members and non-members alike. Lights will be on from 6.30pm to 8.30pm beginning Tues 14th January. 
As part of the Ireland Lights Up initiative and RTE's Operation Transformation 2020, St Johns will turn on the floodlighting for our whole community and allow everyone to enjoy healthy walks along our pathway in a safe and bright environment during the dark winter nights of January and February 2020.
St Johns LOTTO
The last draw took place on Sat Jan 4th.The numbers drawn were 10, 13, 21 and 24. There was no winner of the Jackpot prize. The winners of the E25 consolation prizes were Claire Jennings, Carraroe; Martina Doyle, Drumiscabole; Tom Mc Gowan, Aughamore and Francie O'Brien, Skreen. The next draw will take place next Sat Jan 18th. Tickets can be purchase from the following outlets;  Molly Fultons, Carraroe; Londis Supermarket, Cleveragh Rd.;  Clifford Electrical, Carraroe; Cannings House and Garden, Cornageeha; The Crozon Inn, Caltragh; Mc Morrow's Mace, Cairns Rd. and Applegreen , Pearse Rd. or from club members.  Saturday's Jackpot is a massive E14,150.
Girls Football
Five of our girls team traveled to The Connacht Centre Of Excellence on Thurs last for Thursday Night Lights football. They were Ellie Filan, Sadbh Williams, Chloe Clerkin, Failenn Mc Loughlin and Ella Boland. Well done ladies for taking part on a cold winters night and a big thanks to the chauffeurs.
Sympathies
St Johns club wish to extend their sympathy to Geraldine and Niall Gordon and family on the recent passing of Geraldine's mother, Delia Mc Hugh,RIP,in Tuam. Also the whole Carraroe community was greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Packie Ward,RIP, Carnamodda. To his wife Philomena, daughter Mairead and sons Brian and Noel and their families we offer our deepest sympathies.
